Trinity Blood

Trinity Blood was first created as two six-volume series of Japanese light novels. The first series is subtitled Rage Against the Moons (RAM), while the second series is subtitled Reborn on the Mars (ROM). Rage Against the Moons covers the same time frame as the anime series, from Father Abel Nightroad's meeting of Esther Blanchett to her being crowned Queen of Albion. Reborn on the Mars takes place after Rage Against the Moons and continues detailing the story of Abel, Esther, and the quest for peace between humans and vampires.
The novels were first serialized in The Sneaker and published in their completed form by Kadokawa Japan in 2001. In Korea, the novels have since been translated and published by NT Novel starting in 2003 and finishing in 2005. Kadokawa's Tawain division has translated the novels to Traditional Chinese and released them in China.
In North America, the novels have been licensed for English release by Tokyopop. The first novel was released April 10, 2007 and is on a four month release schedule that alternates between the two series. Rage Against the Moons is being translated by Anastasia Moreno with adaptation by Jai Nitz.
